In the tradition of the great painter and philosopher, Jack Whitten, The Black Manuscript series was born, as a tribute to him, and to all great Black minds that have inspired me, as his Black Monolith series conveyed the same for him. The art pieces/covers in the series were created in tribute to Jack. The Black Manuscripts are letters.

The first in the series 2 be celebrated out of the Black pool of genius, is an exploration of the illustrious mind/compositions of Stevie Wonder. we tried to capture the essence of what Stevie spoke to our soul, as he was/is very much a constant guide in fueling our talents to explore as much as we felt was needed for our own growth, as musicians, as well as lonely souls; while opening the gates to a land of freedom, where one could write about anything that affected them. this is a letter to and indirectly from him.
